Overnight accommodation for carers, and persons with a disability or illness is provided at our respite facility in Havelock Street, Smithton.
The house caters for persons in a wheelchair or with limited mobility with an extra wide hallway, doorways, spacious bathrooms and bedrooms, two living areas.
All amenities are on the ground floor.
The length of stay is negotiable but usually less than 7 nights. The group and room charges are inexpensive.
There are plenty of activities and excursions in the area to enjoy during your stay.
The Smithton Respite House has been established with generous support from the Tasmanian Community Fund, Circular Head Council and its community. It is managed for the community by Rural Health Tasmania.
